Flexible setting and service configuration control
A Virtual Private Server gives you - a VPS owner - root-access to the system, this allows you to edit server configuration files, install applications or modify system software, in a shared environment you have to rely on server settings that 'best fit' for all clients and this may not meet your business needs. The range of virtual services include your own dedicated telnet, web, ftp, email, dns servers (primary and backup), etc.
We provide you with a VPS hosting account with operating system and ISPmanager Lite installed. You don’t need extensive knowledge to maintain, manage and secure your VPS, basic knowledge of server technology is sufficient. You can easily manage your server and execute tasks through the ISPmanager control panel from your internet browser.
No limit on sites, data bases, mail boxes
Unlike other "virtual" or "shared" hosting packages, VPS hosting allows you to create the unlimited number of sites, databases, domain zones, SSH- and FTP-users, mail boxes, etc. Virtual Private Servers eliminate all the restrictions of virtual (or shared) hosting. By allowing root access, VPS enables you to install and configure your own software. You depend on your guaranteed allotment of disk space, CPU, memory and bandwidth. Though the server is shared with other users, your VPS will perform in isolation. This means that the bandwidth and CPU resources used by other users will never affect you.
Even if you know the exact number of sites or databases you need, the lack of such limits allows you feel more comfortable doing your business. Imagine the situation when you want to test a script or some new settings. Everything you will have to do is to create a site (database) and try out your new script there. The same way you can test whatever you like not damaging your working site.
Special Software installation
Each VPS comes with pre-installed software. Anyway, if the software, service or module you require is not already installed, you have the administrative control to install it yourself. You can also install your own CGI scripts, system libraries, Perl modules and other programs. VPS allows customers to install and run most FreeBSD- and Unix-compatible software exactly the same way as on a dedicated FreeBSD or Linux server.
With VPS hosting, you do not depend on your hosting provider.
Running own services
A VPS gives you full access to the complete range of virtual services and processes. Thus, you can start and stop running services any time you like saving much of your VPS resources.
When installing and running IRC-servers on VPS hosting, our customers are capable to disable web-, dns-, mysql-, and email server.
Private Names Servers
A VPS grants you access to your own Virtual DNS for you to easily adjust any of your domain zones configuration.
All domain zones from your DNS are delegated to our Name Severs (ns1.joinvps.com & ns2.joinvps.com) by default. We provide you with the ability to add extra IP addresses (with PTR records) to geographically separated servers and then create your own Name Servers (ns1&ns2.your_domain.com). You can easily manage all your domains via the ISPmanager Lite control panel.
Protected/secured data
Since each VPS is isolated from other accounts hosted on a single physical server, you will feel a lot more secure with a dedicated server than a shared server. No one else will have access to your server and you can be sure that you are secure.
Unlike shared hosting, Virtual Private Server performs and executes exactly like an isolated stand-alone server.
Guaranteed resources
The performance of a dedicated server is far superior to that of shared hosting, as you do not share your processor power, memory, or disk space with other sites using the same server.
